Outdoor Wednesday - Still thinking about Spring!
Good morning! Today's event, Outdoor Wednesday, is hosted by Susan over at A Southern Daydreamer. Remember, it only as to be something outside, your favorite flower, a garden, a dream of a garden!
I was going to share more pictures of our ongoing project outdoors. Many of you tried to guess what it was. We're in the priming paint stage now but it is POURING down rain outside today...so no outdoor pictures for me.
So, you know I'm ready for Spring right? Well, I went into my folders and found pictures of May 15, 2008. Here in the South, so many things are blooming like crazy in May.
Daylilies, Pansies and Geraniums
Agapanthus
Azaleas
New Azalea bed. That's about 45 azaleas under the trees. I can't wait for them to bloom this year. They have really grown since this picture.
Landscaping. We are strictly amateurs at this but enjoy doing it ourselves.
And what blog post would be complete without my Angel Baby Boudreaux!
Here's wishing sunshine and roses to everyone!

Very pretty gardens! Lovely job.
So beautiful! I always just love to look at your home...the style is just my dream come true.
Seeing the daylilies makes me miss mine. Spring will come!
These pictures were so nice to look at this morning. Way better than what is going on outside my Ohio window...shivers...
I just love azalea's! Lipstick pink!! You don't see them up here as much as you do in Western Ky though!! I love them and pink and white dogwoods!
Blessin's♥
Fabulous gardens. I love all the flowers, so many things that we can't grow in the desert. I did just plant a few pansies. I can just imagine sitting on that wonderful front porch and enjoying all your lovely landscaping. Spring will arrive eventually. Hugs, Marty
Rhododendron. I took those photos in the Blue Ridge Mountains last June.
I enjoyed my glimpse of the south in the spring. A whole bed of azaleas? Oh my, that will be glorious.

Your flowers are so pretty, and there is that little cutie, Boudreaux. The azaleas will be so pretty this Spring.

Judy Bug, ooooooh, it's pretty! And I love agapanthus. Makes me want to plant some! I can imagine how lovely all of the azaleas will look in bloom. I love Louisiana and Mississippi, particularly in the spring. Can't wait to see everything ablaze in glory. Your home is just gorgeous!

Your yard is gorgeous. Those azaleas will be so beautiful in just a few short months.
We have lots in common...retired high school teacher (I was sp.ed. resource with technical students) and fans of an SEC team. Go Dawgs!
You have such a great space around your lovely home! Beautiful...
What a beautiful yard! I can't wait to see that azalea bed in bloom! :D Jewel
I have a couple azaleas in my garden but I'm about to jerk them up. I planted them years ago and they have never been happy. I don't know what I did to make them so unhappy. Oh well.
Your plants look good.
I just had to say I love your little Bichon. I have one too. Aren't they just the best little dogs. Caesar is scheduled to get a haircut on Friday, so he is very fluffy today.
Judy,
Your garden is just beautiful, blooming & brimming with color!
I love the azaleas (as does everyone here it seems :-) but I have a hard time growing them because we have so much shade.
Beautiful post for OW!!
xoxo

SWEET!!! Everything looks inviting!
(azaleas just won't thrive here at all) :(
glad you have a better time with them! :)
JudyBug, Just read your sweet comment about my wisteria! Don't plant one!!!!! They are gorgeous, but so invasive!!!! They are the no.1 weed in our yard and had just about "eaten" the porch. I just don't have the heart to kill the arbor though. It's older than I am - we know it's been there since at least the 1920's. But I would never voluntarily plant one! :D Jewel
What a wonderful yard! I love your day lilies! Adn your little doggie is the perfect touch!...Debbie
Happy Outdoor Wednesday... a little late...I apologize!
What a beautiful and LARGE yard you have... and a gorgeous house!
I enjoyed looking at your photos from last spring... you have done a nice job landscaping your yard.
I hope you take pictures of your azaleas under the trees (and other photos)once everything starts to bloom!
Thanks for sharing your photos...have a great day!
Susan
