Christmas is getting close and my brain is getting scrambled. I meant to take part in the Holiday Open House...and forgot all about it. I need an alarm on my laptop to remind me of things.
While I decorate, my faithful little buddy stays near and thankfully out of the chaos!
I've already completed several pics of the house so far. Today, we're in the living room. Last year, I changed my tree to rose and copper. I like it but after two years, I think I'm ready for a change next year.
I stayed pretty simple with the oak mantel this year using lights, some greenery and a copper angel. I love turning the lights on and seeing them reflected in the mirror.
In the foyer is my Nativity display and across from it is the pier mirror.
One of my favorite recent purchases was from a gift store in downtown Natchitoches...the site of Steel Magnolias. Natchitoches has the most wonderful gift shops. I found this gold Santa with pink/green trim and the matching trees.
Love his toy bag!
Merry CHRISTmas everyone and Blessings for the New Year from my home to your's!
