I am pleased to be participating in my first Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly over at How Sweet the Sound. Please be sure to visit her site. There will be over 100 participants in this Pink Saturday.
I adore PINK! This is a genetic thing since my mother loved pink. My Dad's mother had a pink bedroom since I was a little girl. I thought it was the most beautiful room ever.
Since I love pink, my decorating theme in my Hearth Room and Dining Room was pink and green this year.
This is a full view of the dining room table. I first placed a pink sheer runner down the table and then used green mesh down the center of the table. I tied it with pink/green plaid ribbon.
In the center of the table is my pink Moonstone Corinthian Aladdin Oil Lamp with a pink petticoat shade. This was a birthday present one year from Mr. Dumpling and one of my favorite things!
The table is set with cream beaded round placemats, "Reverie" Noritake China, pink square Adam Depression dinner plates and green Fruits Depression sherbets. The glasses are also pink Adam Depression glass.
I used the same pink plaid ribbon on the wreath hanging on the antique white mirror.
On the oak buffet in the dining room, I used pink sheer fabric along with my silver tree.
Thank you for visiting my page for my FIRST Pink Saturday!

Now that's what I call beautiful. I love pink and green and you decorated so nice. I have some pink depression glass and my daughter has green that my mother gave her. We need to get it together some year and decorate pink and green.
Happy Pink Saturday.
Oh, but pink isn't a genetic thing in our family, or maybe it is. Pink is my favorite color but our daughter's favorite color is blue. Maybe she got it from her Dad. I painted the furniture in her bedroom pink when she was a little girl. She has never quite forgiven me for that. She still doesn't care for pink. I guess I just thought every little girl should love pink like I did.
Welcome to Pink Saturdays! Your table decor is gorgeous!! I love that green and pink plaid ribbon!
Happy first Pink Saturday and such wonderful pinks you have. I love them all.
Judy Bug!!! Happy PINK Saturday! Wow, I just adore your pinkness. The tablescape scene you created on your dining room table is lush. I love square depression glass plates! Your dining table & chairs are lovely, too.
The white antique mirror is another beauty! I collect & sell antique mirrors, so that really caught my eye!
Please visit me often!

Welcome to Pink Saturday, Judy, I'm so glad you decided to join us. Your table is beautiful ... I, too, collect pink and green Depression Glass, much of which I inherited from my mother. I'm also very fond of Bakelite flatware, and it looks like you have some with pearly white handles.
Looking forward to seeing you on more Saturdays!
