A Day at Tiger Stadium

This weekend, we headed for Baton Rouge to the LSU - Ole Miss game. Getting up at 5:00 a.m. was a challenge!

We met the kiddo and girlfriend Erin at the stadium about 10:00 a.m. We put Boudreaux's LSU jersey on him along with his LSU collar and leash and hit the tailgating groups. You haven't lived until you have gone to a game at Death Valley.

Here's a view pics I took along the way. The live oaks around the stadium are absolutely stunning.

Everyone gathers about an hour before game time to watch Les Miles and the players walk into the stadium. The band follows a few minutes later. The sound of "da...dada..da" gets the crowd going!

This is a view from the South endzone as the stadium filled.

If you follow football, you know what followed in the actual stadium...Not a pretty show by LSU at all. After walking at least 500 miles back to the truck, we headed to Chimes Restaurant where we had the best fried shrimp ever!

That makes the adrenaline pump through your body doesn't it?! Sounds like you had a fantastic time (with exception perhaps the outcome of the game). Great photo's :o)
